Hey its been a while? whats happenin?
SO ALOT and I mean ALOT has happened in the last month and a half. Lets see what I can remember to tell you all.
First we went to Seattle, and that was a BLAST! We had so so so much fun and I hated coming home. It was my first time flying and the farthest I've ever been from Blanding. We were there a whole week but it wasn't enough time and I can't wait to go back. Here's a little bit of what we did (sorry I don't have pictures on this laptop so they will just have to wait a few days till I come back to my moms to use the internet and bring the other computer)
We left Salt Lake Saturday evening. Flying to Seattle was amazing! When we first got in our seats, Trace was to sit in front of me and the person next to me's travel buddy was sitting in front by Trace. After a little convincing they were OK with switching so I could sit by Trace and they could sit by each other. There was another guy sitting by us. His name was Sergea. Towards the end of the flight we got to talking and it comes to find out he went on a mission with an Adair from Monticello....small small world.
Sunday we went to a place called Kayak Point on the Puget Sound for Tyler's birthday/graduation party. It was awesome and my first time being around "ocean water". While we were there Trace, Tyler, and their cousin Brent decided to climb up a jungle gym... until it started to sway and I don't think I've ever seen Trace move so fast as he came down. That night we went to Brents Condo and played games deep into the night.
Monday was kind of relaxing for a while. We had spent the night at Brent's and didn't get back to Trace's moms in Marysville until early afternoon. Then we had to rush to get ready to go to Tyler's graduation. (ya I know he graduated!!!). It was a long ceremony.... there 200+ kids graduating and there were 2 schools with 4 different areas graduating... it was all complicated and I'm still confused about it. But anyways, most of Trace's family attended the ceremony and as a tradition they have we all went out for dinner/desert.
Tuesday we went to this huge trampoline warehouse. We had so much fun playing dodge-ball with all these little kids. I did OK at first but as the time went on and the more tired I got I just didn't care about playing, until the last match we entered. I was in the last 3 of like 20+ people playing. and that's a range of age of 8-20's... (and no I didn't ask for ages but you had to be over 8 to not be accompanied).
Wednesday we jumped in the car and cruised to downtown Seattle for a Mariners game. To me that was probably one of my favorite things we did. We had made a sign for rally fries. Apparently if your sign is good enough you get these awesome fries for free. Sadly we didn't get our free fries. But we did get the best things in the world known as Garlic Fries. No need for explanation. Anyways they M's one YAY!
Thursday we spent the day sight seeing. We went to the pier, the aquarium, pike place market, the space needle, and the freemont troll. It was a long day. and its better shown in pictures.
Friday we had another family day and spent the evening with Traces cousins and grandparents.
Saturday's flight home wasn't as fun. I don't know if it was the 6 am flight, or the (as I call him) g-had texting the whole flight next to us.
We kept Tyler in Blanding for a week and did all sorts of fun activities. Trace started his new job working for my uncle Tom and 4-Corners Electric and is loving it. I started my job at Subway training to be the Assistant/Night manager. The job allows me to go to school full time, as well as work full time. So far its been fun and I've learned alot... they call me Wonder Woman.... need I say more??
WE FINALLY GOT OUR OWN PLACE!!
We finally found a place to rent. We are renting a double wide trailer/house that my dad's cousin owns. We moved in two weeks ago and are still getting settled. Its been so fun having our own place. I learned that Trace loves to decorate and is more picky than I am. We bought a nice counter high table, and a huge flat screen TV. We were able to do this all because Trace sold his dirtbike (finally)
So pretty much thats whats been happening. I know its like a huge pile of word throw up but I can't do anything about that other than not wait so long to blog next time... but I'll get pictures up soon sorry :)

Off We Go
So I thought I would do a quick blog today while waiting to catch our plane to Seattle. Yup thats right Seattle. Trace and I are flying out to go to Tylers graduation, and 18th birthday. It's my first time flying and I'm pretty excited about it. This will be the farthest away from home I will have ever been.
We left Blanding yesterday for Grandma Lana's in Santaquin. We took the senic route through Lake Powell, Capitol Reef, and up through Salina. Lets just say I was done with the car after that. We spent the night here and are sticking around for a bit visiting...(if thats what you call this).
The last couple of weeks we have been busy. We moved to Blanding and Trace worked for Tri-Hurst over at the hospital in Monticello for a while. We spent labor day weekend at the ranch, and road the horses. Sunday we went up to Bull hollow and watched the motorcycle races and about blew away. The wind was just insane.
Last weekend we went to Farmington for a quick visit to Mike and Crystals. AFter we got back Kyle invited us to go up to the elk and spend the night and ride four-wheelers with hin and Dany. So we did. Lets just say our motorcycle ride lasted the right amount of time... but the ride itself was short. We spent half the time stuck on a sand hill.
So thats the short version of what we have been up to. When we get back from our trip I'll post pictures and go into more detail on what we have been up to and what we did up in the rainy country

The WEDDING!
So basically I kind of spaced on blogging since the wedding. Lets just say it was awesome. We were sad that a lot of family couldn't come but we were so EXCITED to finally meet Tanner (Traces little brother).
Traces mom, Rick and brothers drove down from Seattle and got to Cortez on Tuesday. The original plan was that Trace and I would pick up Tyler on Wednesday on our way to Blanding, and get to spend a little time before the wedding. But things change..I got off work early and decided to sneak away and go retrieve Tyler. Traces dad had been kind of gloomy that Tyler was going to be an 1-2 hours away and he wouldn't be able to see him until the wedding. So I went and got Tyler, didn't tell ANYBODY down here what was going on. End of story- I am the favoritist daughter-in-law that Mike and Crystal have.
As for the wedding it couldn't of been more perfect. Trace looked amazing and I didn't look to bad myself. After the short and simple ceremony, we gathered for hamburgers and hot dogs in the back yard. Nothing better then a hot dog on a nice spring afternoon. The reception couldn't of been more perfect. We were so excited that some of Traces friends from down here in Farmington showed up and spent the evening there.
We had a good honeymoon in Ouray, CO. It snowed most of the time we were there so we spent most of the time in the hotsprings.
Married life has been awesome. We are still living in Farmington for one more week. Then off to Blanding! Trace got a job with Tri-Hurst construction. I don't have a job yet but I'm planning on going back to school and getting my associates and possibly pursuing a career in teaching... teaching what I don't know yet. So basically thats the last month in a nutshell.
One day I'll get to uploading more pictures from the reception....

Pre Marrital update
Since the last update....I killed another hamster.
Technically it didn't really die in my care. And I'm not even sure if it died. What happened is shortly after bringing home Chunky Bernice she started acting the same what that Consuela did before she died. Trace and I took her and Enrique in the car and took her to Pet Co. We took Traces hamster so we could show them that we weren't abusing the hamsters. So we took her in and they looked at her and gave us two options.
1. They would pay the vet bill as well as the drugs to help her get over Wet Tail (which is what she was diagnosed having)
2. They would replace her with another hamster who would be insured as well.
So through my head went these questions.
-Am I attached to Chunky Bernice?
-Would the medicine even work?
-If it did work would I remember to give it to her?
-If I remembered would I over dose that hamster?
-Would the next hamster die as well?
-Could I handle the heartache?
After the 3 seconds passed that it took for this to run through my head I decided to get a new hamster... because I'd probably OD and kill Chunky Bernice... So the nice man at Pet Co took her away and put her in the back room. Trace and I have a theory that the back room is known as the farm. Where they go and let the hamsters die (possibly with some help). Anyways we brought home Bug-Z. She is from the West side of the tracks (which in hamster terms means she's a flat out B to the I to the C to the T to the H). Every time I have held or attempted to hold Bug-Z she bites me so I have resorted to using gloves. She has decided to hide in the tubes and refuse to come out other than in the middle of the night to run run run run run on the wheel. A few times I have some how gotten up and taken the wheel off without realizing it. To get her into her ball I have to rip apart the tubes and get her cornered in on and poke at her until she gets in it. Anywho that is the end of our hamster troubles.. Other than we did take them to Blanding with us a few weeks ago.. that was fun.
As for the other news in our life... We blew off the bridal shower :P NO ONE was going to be intown that weekend so instead we did some bridal pictures... and the wind was blowing and my horse... well if you knew Cassidy you'd understand. Anywho here are my boots and my boquet before I fixed it. Do remember that it was held together by 1 tiny piece of wire. We kind of spaced fixing it before we went out and it didn't help that the horses tried eating it...
I LOVE LOVE LOVE MY BOOTS. So basically thats it for wedding updates. If you want to see more you just better be at the reception :) Its at the Blanding Arts and Events Center from 6-8 Come enjoy some ice cream and popcorn.
So I have this terrible addiction to rubbermaid drawers... I don't have any idea why but I just do. So as I get closer to the wedding I get more stressed. When I'm stressed I clean and organize and reorganize. I have discovered that rubbermaid or whatever has came out with this new drawers. They can be used single or you can stack and mix them with others and they lock into place. its pretty awesome. here's what my latest project was:
It has specific drawers for xbox stuff, other nintendo stuff, books, movies, PSP stuff, extra cords and chargers and remotes, and then an empty drawer for whatever.
Other than that way of coping with stress I like to find other stressors to stress on. for Example this little number has kept my mind busy for a little under a week.
This is Rafikii as Trace calls it. Its a 2011 Chevy Cruze. It had 12 miles on it when I picked it up off of the lot yesterday. I love it! It is a manual and its taking some getting used to. I've only killed it twice.I love it! but along with new vehicles we say goodbye to old. So goodbye Jeep! I loved you and still do.
Anywho other than the car swapping and what not we haven't been up to a lot. I went and spent a weekend in Blanding by myself and did some wedding stuff and stuck a horse ride in there. Trace and I went up the following weekend and took the hamsters. We went on an adventure to San Juan Hill and the River House Ruin. Trace and kyle were on their bikes while the rest of us went in on four wheelers. Its nice to be able to get out and get some fresh air now that the weather is warm.
The next time I'll be posting as Mrs. Trace Offutt so be watching. I promise wedding pictures :)

Parenthood, Love & Heartbreak.
So to begin with I hate how the stupid titles can't be changed so the title is a period and the true title is well ^ right there. and maybe it can and I'm just dumb on how to do it. Anyways.
So Trace and I are proud to announce we are parents! We have two little female Djungarian Hamsters. Consula, and Inrique
I would just have to say I LOVE my hamsters. They are fun and Consula loves me back. She crawls up my arms she runs around my shirt but when it comes to the balls he is to small. She just sits in the ball and looks around and eventually she can move the ball a foot or two. Now Inrique is completely opposite. She runs and runs and runs around in the ball and at night she runs in the wheel.
So now for the heartbreak. I started this post on Thursday. Today it is Saturday. This morning we had to "bury" Consula (when I say bury I mean we went to Petco said WTF my hamster died and showed them the corpse in the Chicken N' Biscut box). So on Thursday evening I noticed that Consula hadn't been being very friendly and was kind of curled up in the cage and didn't care if I touched her. Then she started walking around my hands and I noticed that the back half of her was really skinny and deformed looking and when she sat she sat funny with her legs sprawled out like she was doing the splits. I told Trace and we decided it would be best to watch her closely and if she didn't get any better we'd take her back to Petco and see what we could do.
Yesterday morning I got up and like every morning I went to say good morning to the girls and check their food and water. I noticed that Consula had crawled up the tubes and was sitting curled up in a ball in the roof box of the cage. I picked her up to see if she was alive and she was. I couldn't get her to open her eyes and she just took deep breaths and shook. So I kept checking on her all day and she only seemed to get worse. So last night we took her out of the cage and put her on the bed and she just sat there and didn't want to move. even with encouragement. So we planned on taking her in this morning.
A few tears were shed this morning when I woke up to the small body in the mid stages of rigamordis laying on top of the hamster nest. So Trace and I got ready for the day and took the life less body, put it into an empty cracker box and took it to PetCo. We told them the tale of Consulas short life with us, had a harsh interview to make sure we didn't strangle the poor thing. Then they kept up their end of the contract made when I swiped the credit card Tuesday.
So now I'm proud to introduce Chunky Bernice

(Pardon the mess in the cage, they have discovered a cotton material in one of their toys and have decided to tear it out and make a nest out of it in the middle of the pen. Please note we are disposing of it when we clean the cage out tomorrow)
A tale other than Hamsters:
Other than the hamsters nothing really exciting has happened.... OTHER THAN I GOT MY WEDDING DRESS!!!! YIPPEE!!! We are basically done with the wedding. All thats left is getting the announcements out, ordering ties and shirts for all the dads and brothers, and my boots! I'm so excited for it. It is 34 days from today. We went and bought Traces ring and are planning on picking it up some time next week.
Other than that we went to Blanding two weeks ago to see Ronni and David while they were down. Trace took his dirt bike and him and Kyle disappeared for a few hours. They only came back when we pulled out the food. And then they were off again. Then I ended up going to Santaquin with my mom the next day up to a great uncles funeral. We spent all of Monday wedding shopping. We were able to get me a dress (not in the plan I actually had a dress I was borrowing), ALL the flowers and table decorations, all the ice cream and popcorn items, a few decorations and a few other miscellaneous items. It was very productive.
Like I said other than the hamsters we haven't really done much exciting things. I did get a job working for an old friend at his restaurant. I'm proud to announce that I am a Caucasian cashier and Ashkies Navajo Grill.
My shower is March 12 at what time? I don't know lol but I'll post some pictures after for those who can't make it

Announcement Pictures and Such
I moved to Farmington on January 20 and have had NO LUCK finding a job. Since then we have moved Mike, Crystal, Lucy and ourselves to a new bigger house. (Trace and I are looking for a place but with me out of work well... you catch my drift). Living with the future in-laws is AwEsOmE! And I know most people probably are wondering why its awesome..so let me explain
1. Trace works till 10 or 11 at night so it gives me company in the evenings
2. I'm still nervous about living in the 505 so yet again I'm not alone
3. Food. They stock the fridge and the drinks so all I have to do is cook and clean (If you know me you know that I cook for an army so cooking for 1-2 is non existent)
4. I have yet to make any "friends" so I consider Mike and Crystal my friends so I get to "play" whenever I want and will watch cartoon movies with me whenever I want (including Princess ones which we are currently watching) because Trace just calls it painful unless its despicable me
5. Need I say more?
I need to lose a few pounds so I can fit into the wedding dress so Trace and I went on this "nature walk" I spent most my time crying because I didn't have a SHOTGUN.Can you guess why?
We went up to Blanding last weekend. I had to put in my final 4 hours for work (drove 2 hours to Blanding just so I could work 4 HOURS) and along with that we were able to do our engagement pictures. After doing the pictures we had a gathering of people at my parents house. Kyle and Dany came over as well as Kyle's friend Logan, his wife Sarah and their dog Chester the molester. It was a great night filled with tears because we played CRANIUM and watching my mom try and get my dad to guess COCKTAIL DRESS was hilarious.
Heres a little preview of them (my mother is going to be upset I was told not to put any up but I couldn't resist 6 pictures don't sum up a whole day) ... Notice we did wear Green and Yellow for some. I think that if the DUCKS weren't present at the wedding in one way or another it wouldn't happen.
So in the three weeks of job searching and sitting around that I have done I have managed to get a few wedding things done. As well as I have learned a few addictions of mine while being down here (and NO I haven't gained weight due to some of these addictions)
- Facebook- I check the damn thing every 10 minutes
- Taco Bell Baja Gordita- I ate probably 15 of these the first week I was here. Why? I didn't feel like eating much else.
- Little Caesars Bread sticks- Served Cold with warm marinara unless they are super fresh. Notice I said marinara not hot sauce.
- TANGENT TIME! So I had been dying for some bread sticks and so Trace picked some up on his way home from work. It was our weekly movie and treat night and I was sssssoooooo excited. The movie from RedBox was in and starting my bread sticks were the only thing missing. I gently pulled one out of the container, popped open the lid on the sauce and bent over and took a big long hard whiff of sauce. About half way through thus whiff I noticed that my nose was burning and my eyes were watering. I shot up, and almost knocked over the contaminated container. I was in shock to find that some jerk had gave Trace wing sauce. Who the HE double hockey sticks does that? Anyways back to the post.
- Letting Trace drive me everywhere- I don't get road rage so I'm happier :)
And my brand spanking new addiction long story as to why lets just say it involved having a fever and a touch of the stomach flu last week
- The Life of An American Teenager- No comment.
Now after that rant on Little Caesars let me rant a little more on our "dining out" experiences lately. We went to Taco Bell to and ordered our usual $10 dinner and some how we ended up with twice as much food and paying twice as much. We still ate it but felt miserable afterwards... it was 11 at night and why we were eating was beyond me. Our great adventure was on our last date night when we went to Chilies (one of our favorites) and I about had to track down our waiter to get him to refill our drinks, get our order, get our bill, pick up our bill (20 minutes after we got bill he FINALLY showed up to pick it up) and return our change (another 15 minute weight). Now to the last experience which happened today. Lets say I have been rather pissy since it happened. I haven't eaten very much all week and what I have ate didn't stick for long. And all I wanted was cheese tots from Sonic. And well after Trace had to yell at the lady through the mic to chill out (we had just pulled in the drive through and I was trying to decide what I wanted she asked us 20 times in 30 seconds what we wanted) we ended up with stupid chilly cheese tots which were repulsive smelling and looking. If I would have looked in the bag before we got home I would of went back through the drive through and when they opened the window chucked it at the girls face.
This last weekend wasn't SUPER exciting. I was sick so I didn't leave the house other than to go watch the UFC fights at one of Trace's coworkers house. Which I may say they were awesome. Other than that things have been very calm.
Thats about it for now. The wedding plans are coming along smoothly we are down to 7 WEEKS!!! YAY!

Introductions are a MUST!
Trace and I had this crazy idea to make a blog so family and friends that are not around can get to know us and also know whats going on in our lives. So after three weeks, of uncountable swearwords said later, here is the product of our spectacular idea. Its not much for certain reasons mentioned before, but its better than nothing.
For the first blog I figured we'd tell you about ourselves.
I (Jessi) am a outdoorsy girl who'd rather be on a horse, shooting bunnies, or just outside rather than doing well...girly things. I grew up in the small town of Blanding UT. I recently worked at Blue Mountain Hospital as a dialysis tech and loved every minute of it. My only and older brother Kyle, is married to the my favorite and the best sister-in-law EVER, Dany.
Trace grew up in Dolores CO. He enjoys most sports including baseball and football. Trace is a huge Oregon Duck football fan!!! He loves riding his dirt bike. He works as a manager at Albertsons. During the warm days he loves to go send it (play frisbee golf). Trace has two little brothers, Tyler who is 18 and Tanner who is an adorable 6 month old. We have yet to meet Tanner but are excited to in April.
We met on a warm sunny day during the summer when a mutual friend introduced us and it went from there. Trace and I both currently live in Farmington NM (I moved down here to start looking for a job). We're always playing some sort of video games, or watching some family guy or south park and I've finally convinced him to start going on walks with me on his days off.
The wedding plans are coming along just fine. We are getting married on April 1st at Long Canyon Ranch. We have yet to set a time for the reception but it will be at the Blanding Arts and Events center. We are doing our engagement pictures next weekend so watch Facebook for pictures and such. Here's links to our pages in case you aren't our friends (there may be reasons for some :) )

Wish me luck on this blog thingy
For the first blog I figured we'd tell you about ourselves.
I (Jessi) am a outdoorsy girl who'd rather be on a horse, shooting bunnies, or just outside rather than doing well...girly things. I grew up in the small town of Blanding UT. I recently worked at Blue Mountain Hospital as a dialysis tech and loved every minute of it. My only and older brother Kyle, is married to the my favorite and the best sister-in-law EVER, Dany.
